Tree Spirit (1987) - Page 2
...A village filled with many people and the smoke of many fires.
The people of this inlet village were very fond of a game played upon the beach at low tide.
The sticks were made out of the bottom part of the hemlock sapling.
The ball was carved out of the burl of a tree.
Two marks were made far apart and the ball was placed in the center. The object was to hit the ball across your opponent's mark.
